Why I'm going to hell..

So..... I've been forced to draw garfield at work.... Don't ask..... But my drawings had to look like the cg model for the second movie.. Not the normal cartoon Garfield... Again.. don't ask... But here are some of my roughs that did and didn't make it into the final mix of what we're doing.. I feel there's a special spot in artists hell for me because of this.. and Troy too.. Don't deny your involvement Troy!! They made me feel dirty.... oh soo dirty. Especially the air guitar one.. Man... I've hit a new low.....

I hate Mondays....where's the damn Lasagna? ROWR!, time to give Odie a drop kick...

They're seriously making a second movie?!??! But the first one was such a major flop! It stunk!

I've always felt that the whole movie should be in CGI, not just Garfield. That could lead toward more comedic possibilities, make it more like the cartoon it's supposed to be. They did such a lame job with Garfield in the first movie.

Yep... It was weird.. Just a few dyas before this troy and I were both talking / complaining about Garfield and how the first movie was aweful and how it's like an assembly line comic now.. and then boom... hey guys.. you gotta draw garfield... now that's karma... I gotte be careful what i talk about from now on..;)

Jim Davis's best work with the comic were done in the strip's first 10 years IMHO.

Some major flaws of the movie...Odie should've been a cartoon CGI as well, not just a live dog. That would've made things easier to work with for gags and what not.

The guy who played Jon was a pretty good choice, but I imagine Brendan Fraser could've done just as well if not better.

Jennifer Love Hewitt played Liz, the veterniarian who's hardly ever in the strip. Mostly to play Jon's love interest. As hot as she is, I think a woman more around 35-40 would've been more appropriate to play Liz, someone more mature. Jennifer Aniston, maybe? ;)

Garfield's usual half shut lazy eyes are lookin a bit on the "C'mere and pet me you sexy thang" side.... kinda creepin me out.
